The receptionist was genuinely lovely and helpful, and the room had a fan, which we appreciated because it was warm. But after a long drive, we were really disappointed by how unclean everything was. There was hair across the bed, though the sheets looked clean, and the bed base had lots of stains and marks. The walls were splashed and marked, the bath still had what looked like beard trimmings in it, and the towels had stains and orange marks like food residue. The toilet didn't look clean either, the shower wasn't working properly and had dirt around it, and the carpet was dirty. Even the rubbish bin outside was overflowing. We'd stayed here once before and had a pleasant night. The room was clean then, and while it could have done with updating, it was comfortable and good value. This visit was a real letdown, and the poor cleanliness made the stay unpleasant.

The room had plenty of space and the usual budget hotel essentials, and we had no other problems during our one-night stay. We arrived late near Christmas, found parking close to the entrance easily, and got a friendly, professional welcome at reception before checking in. I'd stay again without hesitation if I needed to. There's no restaurant on site, which is fairly common for Travelodge and wasn't a major problem, though it would be useful. There aren't overnight slow EV chargers either. Rapid chargers are at the garage next door, if you're able to wait around an hour.

Just off the main road, with petrol and plenty of fast food nearby, it's a handy place to stop for the night. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. It's budget accommodation, but the staff were friendly and helpful. A perfect crash pad.

Room 2 kept tripping the electrics, so Sam at reception moved us to another room and everything was fine after that. She was so helpful and went well beyond what she needed to do. We really appreciated it, she's a lovely person. 💐

There's plenty of parking, plus a garage with a shop and a McDonald's, and the A11 gives easy access to other areas. Ben and john gave us a lovely warm welcome. Our room had a fresh blue and grey look, a comfortable bed, and a very clean bathroom with a soap dispenser and a fresh shower curtain. Fresh towels, tea and coffee were provided too. There were lots of USB plug sockets, including beside the beds. The staff were welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. This Travelodge is excellent quality, and I'd book with confidence.
