I stopped in for a drink despite not being a hotel guest, and felt welcome right away. The lighting was warm, the seats comfortable, and the bar had a polished but relaxed feel. It would work for a catch-up or a special evening, and I never felt out of place. Jay made the visit memorable. He asked what I liked, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made a beautifully presented cocktail that was perfectly balanced, one of the best I’ve had in a while. He was attentive and friendly without hovering, and his hospitality felt personal. The rest of the service was smooth and professional too. The bar stands on its own as a place to go, and I’d gladly return without booking a room. If you’re nearby and want a good drink in a comfortable setting, look for Jay.

Danielle made sure every stressful bit was sorted out, and the team took such good care of us on our wedding day at the red hall on 10.05.2026. We had the most perfect day, and everyone’s been commenting on how lovely the food was. Thanks again to everyone for making it special!

We had a marvelous time at a pre-Christmas meal here before, with great food, decor and atmosphere. Just before Christmas we came to the Santa Brunch, and all the staff, Santa included, were wonderful. They were especially accommodating with two family members who have learning disabilities and dementia.

Our wedding breakfast was amazing, and everyone commented on how delicious it was. My husband and I had our gorgeous Christmas wedding at the Red Hall on Saturday 13th December, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the day more special than we’d imagined. Danielle and Damon deserve a particular thank you for keeping everything running smoothly. We’d recommend the venue for a wedding without hesitation.
