We only wish we could have stayed longer at The Bushmills Inn. We got in very late, just before 11:00 pm, after the receptionist had closed the desk. They still greeted us warmly, took care of our bags and got us settled in comfortably. Our room was delightful and spotless, with a canopy bed, a small sofa, a separate dressing area and a well-appointed bathroom with a heated towel bar. After a long day on the road, we relaxed at the bar with the gin and whisky tasting we'd ordered in advance. Cameron looked after us so well and made it interesting and fun. We ate in the restaurant the next night. At first, there was a small service mix-up and our table hadn't been marked as occupied. Once the staff noticed us, they were extremely attentive and clearly well trained. The restaurant was beautiful, the food excellent, and they gave us a discount on the meal to make up for the wait. We were very happy with how they handled it. We'd highly recommend The Bushmills Inn and hope to return soon.

What stands out most at Bushmills Inn is the team. The service is warm, natural and right on the ball. They spot things before you need to ask and sort out problems early, so even on a first visit you feel like a regular. That's what makes it somewhere you'd want to return to. The hotel itself has real character without feeling tired. The rooms are lovely, the beds are proper beds, and there are thoughtful little touches that feel aimed at the guest, not the brochure. You feel like slowing down, settling by the fire and staying a while. The cooking is just as good. Breakfast sets you up for the Causeway Coast, and dinner is honest, well-cooked food that makes good use of local ingredients without trying too hard. It's not food as theatre, just very good cooking in a room where you want to linger over another round.

The room was fantastic, with a lovely view, and it was so quiet we didn't hear a thing. We also enjoyed excellent food at the hotel, both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. It's a great location, close to walks and beaches, and a super place to recharge for a night without the kids. The large, comfortable room was the master distillers suite. Simply one of the most relaxing hotels in the country.

We booked dinner at the restaurant this time rather than staying over. It's my first trip back to Bushmills in about 15 years, now with a wife and two kids. The hotel and inn have lovely old-world charm, with open fires, lime-washed walls and exposed oak beams. It's much bigger than I remembered and is definitely a proper hotel in its own right. The food was excellent. We had steak and fish, both very good, and my daughter, who has celiac disease, was delighted they use a separate fryer for the chips. The staff knew about celiac disease and were helpful, friendly and plentiful. We'll come back to stay, maybe without the kids!

We had a wonderful night for my husband's 70th birthday. The room was beautiful, looked out over the courtyard garden and had everything we needed. The card and chocolates left for the occasion were a lovely touch. We were warmly welcomed at reception, enjoyed a lovely dinner with excellent service from the whole team, and had a beautiful breakfast with friendly service too. A wonderful overnight stay.
