The breakfasts are incredible, and the portions are so generous. Wolodymyr was a wonderful host, sharing great stories and details about Buxton and its features. We have family nearby, so this will be our base for future trips.

We wish we'd had more time at this beautiful hotel. Wol is a fantastic host, full of knowledge, and made the stay extra special. The breakfast was very yummy too!

Breakfast was amazing and the choice was so varied that deciding was the hard part. Our daughter is vegan, and since this B&B is meat-free it was great to find so much for her to choose from. My partner and I eat meat, but there was plenty to fill us up too, including a fabulous vegan sausage, and the portions were very generous. The rooms were lovely, with quality bedding and furnishings and lots of little extras, so it felt like good value. The staff were attentive, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It's an excellent location, about a five-minute walk to the centre and just down the road from Buxton Country Park. It's a gem worth sharing, even if that means it might be booked up when we want to return. Book, you won't be disappointed!

The vegetarian breakfast was amazing, with a huge choice laid out over two pages of A4. The owners' attention to detail is second to none. There was a fridge in the room stocked with complimentary Buxton water, plus a fruit bowl, slippers, robes and toiletries. The period furniture is lovely, and the beds were the comfiest.
