The view of the viaduct was beautiful, and taxis into Buxton weren't expensive for anyone who didn't want to walk. There's a friendly farm shop on site and it's a short walk to Trackside for a beer. Our motorhome broke down on the way, so our plans changed, but all the staff were friendly and helpful. The park itself felt very welcoming. The shower block seemed fairly new, and I loved having the radio playing in there.
Very nice place, with very friendly staff 👍 The shower block is spotless, there's an outside sink for washing pots, and they have washing machines and somewhere to iron. There's a games room too.
The campers were impressed by how clean the shower block was, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our classic car club spent the weekend at Lime Tree, and those of us staying in statics were very happy with the comfort and equipment.
A handy little site, just an easy walk from Buxton. The toilets and showers were clean, and there's a farm shop on site. We'll use it again.
It was so quiet and lovely here that it even made up for all the rain. We booked a non-electric tent pitch for Easter weekend, and the price was reasonable. It's a good base for Buxton and the surrounding area, with clean, well-kept pitches and beautiful countryside views. A lot of the tent area slopes, though, so getting there early gives you a better chance of finding a flatter spot. The toilet blocks are brand new and staff keep them very clean. Radio 2 playing inside was a nice touch, and the showers had hot water. There are also outdoor washing-up sinks with hot water. Just remember gazebos cost an extra £10 per day.
