Berkeley was the part of our stay that stood out most. He checked in by text every day and was so attentive and accommodating; you can tell he really cares about the property and his guests. The room was clean, recently updated and had very comfortable beds. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a good range of choices. The location worked well too, with the seafront and beach an easy walk away. We'd happily come back to An Caisleán.

Berkeley and Claire went out of their way to make our walking group feel welcome, and Berkeley even arranged taxis to our route starting points. As an experienced walker, he also gave us invaluable advice on the trails. The B& B was a great base for our Northern Ireland tour with two other family couples. It was only a five minute walk to the harbour and about the same to the town centre. Our clean, comfortable rooms, the relaxed lounge with tea and coffee facilities, and the fabulous breakfast made the two nights a pleasure. We highly recommend it, and thank Berkeley and Claire for their wonderful hospitality.

We only found this B&b because someone at another place on the map, which no longer operated, kindly called around for us. Berkeley then worked with us by phone to hold a room even though we weren't in town yet, and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. He was such a helpful, knowledgeable and hospitable host. The room was spotless and spectacular, and breakfast was great. The whole setup was really good. If you're in BalleyCastle, Northern Ireland, I highly recommend stopping here. You can't go wrong.

Berkeley seemed to know our hiking tour plans better than we did, and was a huge help with the logistics. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. We also appreciated the self-service coffee and tea station, which had great options. This was probably our favorite place to stay in Northern Ireland. We loved it and can't recommend it more highly.

Berkeley's advice and help arranging things were 100% useful, and that's what made this B&B stand out for me. We also had a spacious, modern, clean room and a very tasty breakfast. I don't usually write reviews, but this stay deserved one.
