The little steam railway beside the cottage only passes a few times a day, and not late, which adds to the charm. It’s also a handy base for Conwy, Snowdonia and Anglesey. Inside, my dog and I felt at home: clean, comfortable bed, everything we needed, and a lovely log fire that wasn’t necessary in June. I’d suggest non-slip socks for the stairs. Really loved it.

We spent New Year’s here and were surprised by how warm and snug the cottage was, especially with the log burner. The nearby scenery is lovely, with fields alongside, an old church and a heritage railway just a minute’s walk away. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom nicely finished. It’s about ten minutes to the beach and Caernarfon too. We’d definitely come back.

Such a lovely stay. The place is cosy and really clean, and you can feel how much care went into making it. We’re so grateful we got to stay here.
