The area was wonderfully peaceful, with fields, cows and sunsets to look out at. At the right time of year, you can watch the pregnant cows and guess which one will be next. There's a steam train that stops at the end of the drive, and it makes for a full day out without needing to go any further. If you like farms, cows or milking, just ask and you can join a guided tour with as much hands-on involvement as you're comfortable with. The accommodation had everything we needed for a home-from-home stay. Phone signal and Wi-Fi can be unpredictable around here, though there is Wi-Fi and we got just enough phone signal.

Lovely, warm welcome at this self-catering place on a farm, a few miles from Caernarfon. The kitchen was really well equipped, and the rooms were warm and comfortable. Stay here, it's lovely!

We used it as our base for climbing Snowdon, and it was excellent in every way. Great location and friendly owners. Top notch.
