Susan made us feel very welcome, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The haggis and local sausages were a real treat. Our dog loved having the beach just across the road, and we could walk a couple of minutes up the road to a dog-friendly inn for supper. A great place to stay. We’ll return 😍

We can’t wait to come back! The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the views are fantastic. Our room was tastefully decorated and clean, with soft, comfortable beds. The traditional Scottish breakfast was great too. 💚

The fridge was a nice touch, and the beach hut is a lovely idea. Our room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was freshly cooked, very tasty, and made with locally sourced food. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

George suggested another place to eat at Mabie House and drove us there and back. Susan also took us to Dumfries Stn. They’re lovely, warm people who are clearly in the right job. It was a peaceful, friendly and quaint stay. Breakfast had a lovely atmosphere, and chatting with Susan was a pleasure. She knows a lot of local history and was helpful with our questions.

The caravan was really well equipped, and the summer house has stunning views. Susan and George are lovely.
