I’ve stayed here once a year for the last five years, and the staff have always been welcoming. As a lone female guest, I’ve always felt safe, and the hotel is clean and quiet with nice bathrooms. My favourite Premier Inn, thanks to its pretty yacht harbour setting on Victoria Dock, Caernarfon, with great views across to Anglesey. You can easily walk to the town walls, shops, and main square. Head out of town and you’re directly on the Wales Coastal Path towards Y Felinheli and Bangor. The walk to Y Felinheli along Menai Strait is flat and easy, and regular buses run back. Parking is in a nearby pay and display, but it’s only a couple of minutes’ walk from the entrance. I paid £7.70 for 24 hours yesterday, and you can pull up at the hotel first to unload luggage. Food is served at the nearby TableTable. I haven’t had dinner there, but the breakfasts I’ve eaten were very good. There’s currently a set price offer for dinner, one drink, and breakfast that looked reasonable, though I didn’t take it as I’d already sorted my evening meal. I’ll definitely stay again next year.

The location is a big plus, just a few minutes’ walk from Caernarfon, the stunning castle, shops, and cafes. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and parking across the road wasn’t a problem for me. Breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. I slept well each night. That said, compared with other Premier Inns I’ve stayed in, this one badly needs renovation. The rooms felt dated and cold. We had the heating set to 28C and the fan on full to get warm, and I think the ice cold corridors made the rooms colder. The WiFi was poor, which I find at all Premier Inns, since they want you to pay for Ultimate WiFi. Good value overall, and I’d return.

The staff were kind and polite throughout, and Jenny was especially sweet and made us feel welcome. The room was very spacious, and we could easily walk to the castle from this excellent location. Breakfast was lovely, with porridge, poached eggs, and other choices. Very good value for money.

We spent our Christmas holiday here as a family and had a great stay. The location and staff were incredible, and the restaurant staff were fantastic too. Our room was spacious, neat, and clean. Snowdon is only a 30 minute drive away.

A basic but very nice hotel that did the job. The rooms were big and had a good shower, and the reception staff were really friendly. We enjoyed both breakfast and our evening meal at the restaurant opposite. There’s no parking at the hotel, just pay and display across the road, which cost £7.70 for 24 hours. I’d stay again.
