The Lake View Hotel

Amy and James made us feel welcome right away, and Amy was on hand throughout our three nights to help and offer excellent recommendations. The comfortable communal rooms were great for relaxing, playing games or having a brew or a drink. Our bedroom was spotless and comfortable, and we enjoyed freshly cooked breakfasts each morning, ordered the evening before. For a relaxing sauna and cold dip, we'd recommend Sawna Bach by the lake in Llanberis. We also had a great Sunday dinner at The Slate Y Llechan and enjoyed visiting Penrhyn Castle, which is well worth seeing. The Lake View Hotel was a lovely home away from home and a great base for the trip. We couldn't have asked for better hosts.

Amy was incredibly responsive whenever I texted with a question or request. We stayed three nights over the bank holiday weekend, and the accommodation was just right for us. The owners were attentive, the breakfasts were amazing, and it's a good location, about a 15-20 minute walk into Llanberis. We'd certainly stay again if we're in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Amy was so welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel has a comfy lounge, clean and tidy rooms, tea and coffee in the communal area, and it's licensed, so you can have a beer after a day on the hill. Breakfast was great, with vegan options too. It's a lovely little place within walking distance of Llanberis high street, where there are pubs, restaurants and outdoor shops. A fabulous base for a break in Eryri.

The Lake View Hotel made hiking in the area that little bit easier. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hospitality was great. They were very accommodating, and I'll definitely stay here again. Thanks so much, Jack.
