We spent a week here as a family of four and found plenty to do within a 20-30 minute drive. The two-bedroom cottage had everything we needed, and the views were lovely. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was a real treat. We'd happily come back and recommend it.

Our train-mad 14-year-old was delighted by the steam train passing nearby, and we could wave to the passengers from the cottage. There are also lovely walks right outside. Y Beudy Cottage made a great base for me, my wife, our son, my parents, and our dogs Barry and Jax. It sleeps up to five, whether two-legged or four, and has plenty of room to relax after a day out. The kitchen was well stocked too, and the cottage felt comfortable throughout. Wales gave us the peaceful, scenic break we wanted, and we'd recommend staying here.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay and are already planning to return. The owners were lovely, knew the area well, and were happy to offer advice. The cottage was spotless and excellent value for money. I'd recommend booking at least a week.
