We’ve been going to the shears inn for a while, and it’s our favourite pub for Sunday dinner. Everything is fresh and homemade, and the flavours are amazing, especially the gravy and roast potatoes. Today we had dessert, and the pineapple and Malibu crumble tasted like heaven. I’ve never had one so good, and I think I’ll rave about it for ages. Great service too, and the owners are really friendly and nice.

We had a wonderful meal at The Shears Inn while we were on holiday, and the welcome from the staff was so friendly. When we couldn't find a taxi, the owner even offered to have her son drive us back. They really went out of their way for us.

We came for a Sunday roast and I had the lamb, which was very good. The cheesy lettuce bowl alongside it was a particularly nice surprise. It's a tucked-away old country pub with a clean, authentic feel, run by really friendly people.

We love having this as our local. The atmosphere is warm, everyone on staff is lovely, and there's a great choice of drinks. The food is delicious too, especially the Sunday roast. Thanks to all of you 😊

We'd only planned to stop for a drink and some chips on the way back to Bournemouth, but this pub was a lovely find just off our route. Can't believe I'd never come across it before. We enjoyed the short stop, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth visiting.
