We booked an hour ahead for Sunday lunch. They had a table available, though booking is recommended. The food was delicious and good value, and the staff were skilled and friendly.

The food was excellent, and I'd definitely eat here if you're staying in Llandudno. It's comfortable and warm, though the place has something of a working men's club look. The drinks selection is limited, so I'd have a drink somewhere else first.

The beds were the main problem for us. As side sleepers, my partner and I found them very hard and uncomfortable. We each managed only a few hours of sleep, woke with some back pain, and often gave up and lay awake until morning. Back sleepers might be fine, though. The room itself was modern, had all the amenities you'd want apart from hair conditioner, and the radiator's automatic temperature control was a nice touch. There's a lovely pub downstairs, run as a separate business, and a café next door for breakfast, but it doesn't open until 9am.

Really lovely, friendly service, and the food was superb, home cooked and delicious.

It felt comfortable and homey, not like a clinical hotel room, and we really enjoyed staying here. The layout suited our two families, with a child each, as there were two double beds and two singles. Arrival and departure were both easy.
