The staff were amazing from the moment my partner and I arrived for our two-night stay at the crown hotel. Friendly and attentive throughout. We had a drink at the pub on the first night, where there was a great selection and a really cosy feel. On the second night we tried the food, and it was incredible. Honestly, we couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back.

I had a great three-night stay. The rooms are no-frills, but spotlessly clean. There’s a decent bar menu, good food and some nice beers to choose from. The location also makes it easy to get to lots of places in the area. Special thanks to Becky for making me feel welcome. She absolutely works her socks off.

A warm atmosphere and friendly staff, with a menu of good pub food. There’s entertainment at weekends, and the rooms have been upgraded.

We dropped in on the way back to our hotel. There wasn’t much choice of drinks, and it felt very much like a locals’ pub. The entertainment was a man singing older songs along to a karaoke-style backing machine. Prices were what we expected, and it was a decent enough pub.

We spent a couple of days at The Crown Hotel while walking nearby. The rooms were fantastic and very clean, the bar was great, and the food was decent. Saturday’s live music was fab. A lovely place to stay.
