The location worked perfectly for me. It was quiet, just away from the busy main streets, yet close enough to walk to the university, about a mile along a gorgeous riverside route. The room was lovely and charming, and absolutely spotless. You can tell a lot of care goes into getting everything right. Both owners met me and were so warm and welcoming. The room I'd booked was nice, but they had an even nicer one available, so they showed me both and let me choose. Such a personal touch. They also left a lovely spread of tea, coffee, bottled water, biscuits, and chocolates for free. I didn't have time to take them up on breakfast, but I peeked into the dining room, which felt just as bucolic as the rest of the place. I like giving my business to places that clearly appreciate it, and these owners really did. I'll be back next month when I'm in Cambridge again. Thanks for making me feel so comfortable and welcome. The hosts were kind and attentive, and breakfast was excellent. It's a lovely BnB, with a compact room that still had everything I needed, tasteful decor, and a very comfortable bed. There was even a fridge and freezer for guests, which was handy for keeping the food from our car during long drives.

Warm, welcoming, and clean, with a good range of buffet breakfast choices. Our hospitality tray was topped up each day, but the room itself wasn't serviced. We left the card on the doorknob asking for service and it still wasn't done. It's a small thing, but details like that matter to the overall impression. I'd certainly recommend the place.

The hosts are lovely, and breakfast was wonderful. Service was excellent, with lots of attention to detail. The B&B is beautifully decorated with obvious care, and spotlessly clean throughout. It's near the River Cam, and an easy walk through Jesus Green to the city centre. Highly recommended!

We were there over the August bank holiday with our elderly parents, and the ground-floor room was a big help since they struggle with stairs. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. The place was immaculately clean, even by my mum's high standards, and the couple running it went out of their way to meet our needs and make the stay pleasant. The menu had a great breakfast selection, plus extra items, and parking was available. The location was excellent too, just a few minutes' drive from local attractions. From my first call to arrange the booking through the whole stay, the customer service was excellent. The lovely couple have made it feel like a beautiful home away from home. I'd highly recommend it if you're planning a visit to Cambridge.
