Home From Home Bed and Breakfast

The hosts were kind and attentive, and breakfast was excellent. It's a lovely BnB, with a compact room that still had everything I needed, tasteful decor, and a very comfortable bed. There was even a fridge and freezer for guests, which was handy for keeping the food from our car during long drives.

Warm, welcoming, and clean, with a good range of buffet breakfast choices. Our hospitality tray was topped up each day, but the room itself wasn't serviced. We left the card on the doorknob asking for service and it still wasn't done. It's a small thing, but details like that matter to the overall impression. I'd certainly recommend the place.

The hosts are lovely, and breakfast was wonderful. Service was excellent, with lots of attention to detail. The B&B is beautifully decorated with obvious care, and spotlessly clean throughout. It's near the River Cam, and an easy walk through Jesus Green to the city centre. Highly recommended!

We were there over the August bank holiday with our elderly parents, and the ground-floor room was a big help since they struggle with stairs. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. The place was immaculately clean, even by my mum's high standards, and the couple running it went out of their way to meet our needs and make the stay pleasant. The menu had a great breakfast selection, plus extra items, and parking was available. The location was excellent too, just a few minutes' drive from local attractions. From my first call to arrange the booking through the whole stay, the customer service was excellent. The lovely couple have made it feel like a beautiful home away from home. I'd highly recommend it if you're planning a visit to Cambridge.
