Breakfast was a real highlight. I don’t eat bacon or sausages, and Ciara happily made sure there was plenty for me, including vegetable roll and turkey rashers. The Lighthouse bedroom was just as lovely, with an incredibly comfortable bed, tasteful heritage colours, and local history touches. There was a coffee machine, kettle, lots of tea choices, and even sea salt chocolate. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower, toiletries, and fluffy towels. We loved relaxing in the guest lounge and looking out over the golf course and coastline. We had the pleasure of staying at Margaret's Cottage on Saturday 30 May. You’d travel a long way to find a better stay in Co Down. Thank you, Ciara.

Margaret’s Cottage is a peaceful, beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. Ciara is so caring and thoughtful, right down to the smallest details, and anything she cooks is a treat.

For nine years now, my husband and I have returned to Margaret's Cottage every year. It’s a real treasure, and Ciara is a wonderful hostess, the best in Ireland and beyond, I’d say. She’s a splendid cook and baker, and always has little treats that are so tasty. We have no hesitation recommending it for a memorable vacation. From Allan and May McAdoo

The sea views were a lovely bonus, and the whole place was spotlessly clean with every comfort thought of. The dining and lounge room was delightful, the bedroom comfy, and the food excellent. Ciara made us feel so welcome, she’s such a lovely, engaging host. I really enjoyed staying in her home. Margaret’s Cottage B&B is just what you hope for in a B&B. You won’t find a better one anywhere. Thank you, Ciara!
