The staff have been pleasant and helpful on both visits, and the free parking has just about been enough. I’ve stayed here a couple of times because it works well for north Cambridge and is fairly easy to find. Even rooms facing the A14 have been quiet with the windows shut, though that might change in summer if they’re open. There’s no air conditioning, so rooms can get hot; the fan helps, but it’s loud on full power. Breakfast is fine, nothing special either way. We’ve only booked on cheaper nights, and for those rates it feels like good value near a tourist city. I can’t remember how O2 reception was upstairs, but it was terrible at the front of the ground floor.

Bee at reception made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the whole team was friendly and eager to help. We had a really lovely stay at Travelodge Orchard Park. After a long day, the fresh, well-prepared food was a great surprise. The reception staff clearly go out of their way for guests, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thanks to Bee and everyone there. I’d definitely come back.

The main drawbacks were the noisy floors and having to open the window because there’s no mechanical ventilation. The street outside is somewhat busy. Otherwise, it’s in good shape, with plenty of parking that seems secure. The bed was very comfortable, and both the shower and bathroom were OK. Reception and the bar are open around the clock. A good hotel on the edge of Cambridge.

A no-frills place that covered what I needed for a short stay. The location works well for the A14 and Cambridge Science Park, and buses make it easy to get into town. Check-in was simple, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. A comfortable stay at a good price.

The service and cleanliness were good, but the heat in the room was unbearable in this weather. We were on the ground floor, and I can only imagine it was worse upstairs. There’s no AC, and even some ventilation would help. The windows only open a little because of the safety lock.
