I couldn't come up with a single reason not to stay at Chandlers Lodge. Rob and Nat are lovely, and their home has a great atmosphere. It's immaculate, and room 3, where I stayed, was really well equipped, with lots of tea, a good coffee selection, free Netflix and Amazon, and even an Alexa. I was unsure about the eco toilet paper, but after trying it, I'll be buying it for home. The place is super quiet, too. There were three guests during my stay, and the noise was no more than you'd expect in a quiet home. The evening meal is a big part of the experience. Rob has a small family to attend to, so dinner is served a little later, but the local ingredients, cooking, and presentation are all top notch. Everything is made from scratch, including the Thai curry paste, and the portions are generous, so come hungry. Rob says he's not a chief, but he could be. Everything's served with pride. I was here on business, and it felt like being at home while away, a big shift from the chain hotels I usually use. There are two 22KW chargers in the car park if you have an EV. Thanks for having us, Rob. I'll be back when I'm working in the area, even if I have to travel farther to the site. If you're looking to book, go direct, since they're a small business and keep the booking fee. It may also be cheaper than using the sites advertised on TV. Come and prove me wrong about those five reasons not to stay.

We were welcomed so warmly by Natalie and Rob that we felt at home straight away. Their local knowledge was a real help, with recommendations for places to see and good restaurants that made the trip even better. We stayed at Chandlers B&B in Camelford, UK, from February 12 to 16, 2026. Its central location was handy for exploring Cornwall's historical and tourist attractions. The rooms and dining area were spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was generous and tasty, with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and hearty full English options. We also enjoyed two delicious home-cooked dinners at the B&B on evenings when we didn't want to go out. We enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cornwall.

I can be cautious when a place has no negative reviews, but after meeting Nat and Rob at Chandler’s Lodge, I can see why all the stars are deserved. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm, like staying with friends. Our room was spotless and cosy, with thoughtful details, and the bed gave me one of the best nights' sleep I've had away from home. The beach is breathtaking and only 12 minutes away. A must-visit any time of year.

Hunton Bowls Club had a great stay at Chandlers Lodge during a bowls tournament at Camelford BC, and we'd highly recommend this B&B. Thanks, Rob and Nat. We're already missing your yummy breakfasts. Best wishes and good luck to you both! Angela

The food was excellent, plentiful, and came with homemade bread. We spent two nights at Chandlers Lodge in August and were impressed from the start. Rob and Nat were welcoming, and the service was excellent. Our room was immaculate, with a good choice of teas and coffees, and the bathroom was sparkling clean and very impressive. We highly recommend this B&B for all of that and its location near the North Cornish coastline. Many thanks to Rob and Nat.
