We were caught out by a camping and wind nightmare, but they booked us in at very short notice. From the first phone call to checkout, the service was brilliant. Debbie and Gary were lovely, checked in on us throughout, and gave us helpful tips for the area. We stayed in Oak, which was spacious and had everything we needed and more. The WiFi was a great touch since my phone signal vanished as soon as I walked in. It was dark when we arrived, so I took the dog into the gardens, then was amazed by how lovely they were in the morning. My son, our puppy, and I really appreciated everything, especially them saving our trip. We visited several beaches: we especially liked Black Rock Beach, where dogs can be off lead, and spent most of one day at Summerleaze Beach, which is dog friendly but requires leads during summer months. We're planning to come back next summer on our Cornwall trip.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who were always ready to listen if we needed anything and offered recommendations when we asked. After a week, they checked whether we'd like fresh sheets. We stayed 16 nights in our own little cottage at this lovely self-catering place in Camelford, with a nice terrace for sitting outside. The garden is lovely too, and the animation crew, 🦮 and 🐈⬛, came to visit now and then. There was enough parking for every guest. A Fish&Chips Shop and a Nepalese restaurant are nearby, and we recommend both. Grocery shops are within walking distance, including the Hardware Store and Spar. At the other end of the village there's a CoOp or Londis.

Culloden really felt like a home away from home, like staying with friends. Debbie and Gary were lovely hosts, friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make the holiday memorable. Breakfast was delightful, and it was great to see what vegetarian food can be. There are cafes nearby if you prefer something different, but I'd strongly recommend trying breakfast at least once. It's worth the price and a great way to start the day.

My partner, the doggo and I had a lovely stay. The hosts were down to earth, kept asking if we needed anything, and the vibe was relaxed. It's close to the moors and lots of hiking spots, just right for a quiet, chilled getaway.

Camelford is a quiet village in a great location, and the old farmhouse and outbuildings have been turned into lovely holiday accommodation. The hosts were lovely, the rooms clean, and there was a friendly old dog. We had a really relaxing four-night stay and could easily have stayed longer. I'll definitely return if I visit Cornwall again.
