We chose room 4 on the ground floor, with a walk-in shower, and it suited our needs. It was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The full English was really good. The woodland and fields nearby are beautiful, and the location works well for visiting Canterbury and north Kent. This was our second stay, and Stewart was just as welcoming as last time. We’ll be back. Huge thanks, Richard and Pauline.

The breakfast was generous and had good options, and the room did the job. The kettle only boils one cup at a time, which got a bit annoying, though I can see why it’s set up that way. Stewart was attentive and clearly works hard. It’s a quiet place, with pigs to see and a nice walk, and Canterbury is very close. We’d stay again if we’re in the area. Thanks, Stuart.

We booked directly with the owner, and there were no hidden charges like so many booking sites seem to have now. They were flexible about our arrival time and made the whole process easy. At Oakside lodge, the welcome was friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the fan was a lifesaver during the recent heatwave. Breakfast was excellent, with our host keeping things relaxed while still being attentive.

Stuart gave us a wonderful welcome. The breakfast was superb, and our one-night visit was very acceptable. The room was nice, though it could use a better layout.

The pigs in the garden were such a cute, friendly bonus. We stayed in the beautiful Treehouse and had a really good, relaxing couple of nights. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Stuart was friendly and accommodating, and we can’t thank him enough. Canterbury city centre is very close if you want to head out. 10/10, would definitely recommend, and we’ll be back!
