We came for my 50th Birthday, and they made it feel like a special occasion. Breakfast was brought to the room, which was a lovely touch. There was plenty of fresh food, all nicely presented. The place was clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and having it delivered to our door worked really well with the table and chairs in the room. We found thoughtful touches there too, like a little refrigerator, proper wine glasses and a bottle opener. The room was clean and comfortable, and our host was lovely, friendly and helpful. It was our first visit, but we’d definitely recommend it and come back. x

The omelette at breakfast was excellent, and our hosts made us feel very well looked after. The room was great, and the location was just far enough from the tourist noise. It’s right by the Cinder Track, an off-road walking and cycling route to Robin Hoods Bay and on to Scarborough. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was such a good experience that I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Mick was the only host I met, and he was so friendly, a brilliant host. The hotel itself is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfast in the room was gorgeous, with a good range of choices. There was a fridge with water and fresh milk, plus tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. Looking forward to another great wend here soon.

A lovely hotel with great hosts who were happy to help with anything. It’s only about a 10 minute walk into town. Having a continental breakfast in the room was a nice feature.
