The owner deserves a special mention. He was a kind, welcoming gentleman and made sure everything went smoothly, adding a personal touch to our stay. My husband and I spent one night at Turi House in Canterbury recently, and it was peaceful and memorable. The place was clean, well cared for and thoughtfully arranged to feel homely, with a calm atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. It was a short visit, but I enjoyed it and would happily return. I'd recommend Turi House to friends visiting Canterbury who want comfort, peace and warm hospitality.

Everything is a short walk away, and the WiFi is great. The people working here were really friendly, nice and helpful. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the bed was pretty comfortable too. The private bathroom was clean as well, and they even provide free towels. Definitely recommend it.

The landlord was nice, and the place felt like home. The rooms were clean, though not all of them have an ensuite bathroom. You can use the kitchen to cook, and watch TV and use everything there. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre, which is close. The entrance can be a little hard to find at night, so check the picture I uploaded.

I stayed here with my daughter. The person above us kept making noise until 2.30am, even though the rule says no noise after 10pm. We left the next day and still haven't received a refund for the second night.
