The view from the window in the morning was everything! We only stayed a short time, but had a really peaceful night. Such a beautiful, clean, well maintained house. Yes, yes, yes, I’d stay here again!

I was cycling the 'Lakes and Dales Loop', and this place was right on the route, which worked out perfectly. The welcome was warm, and they safely stored my bike overnight. My room was bright, airy, warm and really clean, with a great shower and a super comfy bed. The Sun Inn is just a five minute walk away and serves fabulous food. A lovely, quiet location. Thank you for a great stay.

We had dinner at the village pub, and that was very good too. Back at Sunset House, the hosts were friendly and communicated well throughout. They even had a card machine for payment. The room was immaculately clean, the shower had good pressure, and there was secure bike storage. Breakfast arrived hot and delicious, served in our room. Everything we needed after our first day on C2C. We’d definitely stay again.

The village has an excellent pub for dinner, and the EV charger is a real draw for us. We’ll use them again on future trips to the Highlands and islands.

The lady who runs the place is lovely, and it’s in a very quiet spot. There’s a nearby pub with great food, and the room was absolutely spotless. We’ve stayed twice now, and the breakfast was perfect both times. I’d highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.
