Our hosts made us feel very welcome after a long drive to the Church Guesthouse. They were both kind and helpful, and wanted us to have the best stay we could. The room was large, spotless and had a really comfortable bed. After one night we felt refreshed, and enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning. I’d happily stay again, and recommend it to anyone wanting to see Cardiff’s sights.

It’s just a short walk into Cardiff centre and to Cardiff castle, and only 2 minutes from the Cardiff cricket ground. The hosts were friendly, and you can choose a cooked or continental breakfast. The continental was plenty for me. Comfortable, well located, and an ideal base for a few days in the Welsh Capital. Highly recommended.

A very clean room and a tasty breakfast in a great guesthouse. The host was welcoming, and it’s perfectly placed for exploring Cardiff on foot. The walk to the castle and city center is short and mostly through a park.

The surroundings are pleasant, with on-street parking, and the location is close to the centre. Our room felt a bit cold and damp, and the breakfast wasn’t great. It was okay, but next time we’re looking for somewhere to stay in Cardiff, we’ll try one of the other nearby places.

Everything was low key but really well done. We slept very well in a comfortable bed during our two-night stay, and the people running the guest house were fantastic. They were friendly and helpful, with suggestions for things to see and places to eat.
