The apartment badly needs a deep clean, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The smell of air freshener hit me as soon as I walked in and lingered throughout, making me feel nauseous. If it had been properly cleaned, surely it wouldn’t need all that air freshener. The kitchen and living area needed vacuuming and cleaning, and the cushions needed washing. There was food debris around the hob, and the fridge was full of ice and needed defrosting. The bathroom was dirty too, including the toilet, the area around it and the sink. The cupboard in the main bedroom and the space around the bed were dusty and dirty, and the stairs clearly hadn’t been vacuumed or dusted. Worst of all, the pillows were filthy and unusable.

Pedro and Alina went out of their way to make our long weekend comfortable and memorable. They were very thoughtful, gracious hosts, shared excellent restaurant suggestions, and gave us fantastic information for exploring Cardiff. Thanks to them and to Cardiff for a wonderful weekend! The flat was just right, with a compact kitchen that had everything we needed for a city break. The location was incredible and the bed seriously comfortable. Everything was as perfect as it looked online.

We had a great stay in this lovely, tidy Airbnb apartment. It had everything we needed, including a good bed and a nice bathroom. Pedro and Alina were great hosts, available to sort out any questions, and they shared amazing information about the area.

Don’t stay here if you’re travelling internationally and might need to cancel after 48 hours. The cancellation policy is inappropriate, and you’ll barely get any money back. A rip-off!
