That was the best teacake I’ve ever had. I went with my family, and this was my favourite place in the whole area. The staff were super nice, there’s a water bowl outside for dogs, and it’s right next to the car park.

The tea and double chocolate cookie were nice, and the café has a lovely spot right by the seafront. The coffee wasn’t great, and the fruit scone was a real letdown: microwaved until dry and chewy, with poor quality jam. We left disappointed.

Their homemade ice cream was incredibly creamy and thick, with what tasted like great local cream and top quality flavourings. Nothing else I’ve tried comes close. I didn’t order from the restaurant, so can’t comment on that service, but if you’re passing and want sorbet or ice cream, don’t miss this place. Highly recommend!

The food looked too good to pass up, so our quick coffee stop turned into lunch. It was delicious, with generous portions and really lovely flavours. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We also left a phone on the table and came back for it later; the staff handed it back without any fuss. They were wonderful, thank you!
