Bib and Rich made us feel like part of the family, well beyond what you’d expect from good hosts. We had a beautiful room and a lovely stay all round. It’s a beautiful pub in a beautiful village, with great food, drinks and company. We’ll be back for sure.

Lovely village setting, and the rooms had great views, a massive en suite and everything we needed. Bib’s home cooked food was incredible, and Rich and Rach gave great service behind the bar.

We had a really nice evening meal and a great draught Otter beer. The menu has a good range, and the food was very good for sensible prices. It’s a lovely village pub with 6-7 dining tables. I’ll definitely go again when I’m in the area.

The homemade curry was hearty, full of flavour and came in a generous portion. The food was excellent, and the drinks list had everything from local ales to sweet cider. Staff were genuinely friendly, and the welcome was warm from the moment we arrived. There was live music, which added to the atmosphere without getting too loud. The place was spotless, and it’s clear the owners care. Absolutely fantastic pub, one of the best I’ve been to.

We felt part of the community and were welcomed as friends, so saying goodbye was hard. We lived in Sidbury for 10 months, and this became our local. Rich is so welcoming and chatty, and his wife is a wonderful chef whose curries we loved. We also stayed upstairs as B&B guests. Our immaculate room looked over the church, breakfast was wonderful and the staff were amazing. We especially enjoyed the monthly pub quiz, with friendly locals and always good banter. We hope we can return one day, and Rich had better get pouring Pete's guineas 🍺
