We had a comfortable bar area and very friendly staff throughout. There’s plenty of parking, with overflow available too. Our twin room was really nice, and it was the one where Queen Victoria stayed when she was younger. The modern bathroom was lovely. It’s a well run hotel close to the seafront.

We stayed for just one night as part of a group, and everyone enjoyed the hotel. I organised the visit and found the team easy to work with beforehand. About 35 people joined us for lunch only, and the feedback from them was excellent. It’s a lovely, friendly hotel, and we’ll make time to return.

The food was so good that going home and sticking to a strict diet seems necessary. Gabriella, Queen of the dining room, was absolutely fabulous, attentive to every detail and never too busy to help. All the staff were fantastic. The hotel was spotless throughout, and we had a very comfortable stay in the 'Princess' room, a lovely connection to Queen Victoria. It’s a wonderful, relaxing place in a superb location. We can’t wait to return, and now understand why so many people come back regularly.

The food was fabulous, and the accommodation was friendly, relaxed and comfortable. We stayed one night for my dad's 75th birthday, and the staff went out of their way to celebrate with banners, confetti on the table and a complimentary birthday dessert. The hotel is right on the seafront. Thanks so much for making the extra effort. I’d highly recommend it.
