The only downside to writing this is I might not find a room here next time I’m in Arnside! It’s such a lovely place to get away from the rush of everyday life. The hosts made us feel right at home, and our room had lovely furnishings, a comfortable bed and all the little extras. Breakfast was made with great ingredients, cooked well and served beautifully. Best B&B we’ve stayed in.

The house was spotless, the food was fantastic, and the bed was so comfortable. David and Alex were a pleasure to spend time with, and went well beyond what I’d expect from a usual guest house. This was easily my best guest house stay. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Highly recommend!

Minky the resident cat was lovely company, and everywhere was spotless. We had a mini break to celebrate my parents’ 61st wedding anniversary, with delicious breakfasts and fantastic hosts. I’d be very happy to come back, if David and Alex will have me. Top marks!

Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of options, from cooked dishes and salmon to overnight soaked oats with yoghurt and fruit. We had everything we needed for our three nights, plus a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. David and Alex welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived and looked after us throughout. The house was exceptionally clean and well kept, and the views over the Kent estuary are fabulous. We’d both love to stay again. Best regards, Sam and Clare x

Coeliacs will be well looked after here, and can definitely eat safely. David and Alexander are wonderful hosts who really know how to care for guests. The whole place feels homely and welcoming, and it was spotlessly clean. Our beautiful room had a comfy bed, a fabulous en-suite and even a little fridge stocked with fresh milk and water. Breakfast was first class, plentiful and cooked to perfection. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Arnside. We’ll be back.
