The kitchen is better equipped than most holiday cottages, with everything needed for a snack or even a full roast. It has a slow cooker, a small under counter fridge with an ice box, a decent sized fan oven, four burner hob and full sized dishwasher. Nice extras include a little packet of fresh dish cloths and dishwasher tablets. The wifi is decent. My only other suggestion would be a basic smart TV for on demand telly. The cottage is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated, with a twin and double bedroom downstairs and an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room upstairs. The large bathroom has a decent sized shower, though the shower itself could do with an upgrade to make it a little more powerful. It's lovely, on the edge of the lakes, and ideally placed for exploring all areas. We were worried about the lack of dedicated parking, but it wasn't a problem. We could park within a hundred yards at any time of day. It's a great property at a fair price, and we'd definitely stay again if we wanted to be in the area.

We spent two nights in this pleasant little cottage in poor weather. The pub is a five minute walk, and the Post Office and shop are three minutes away.

The upside down cottage is unusual and close to the village shop, butchers and pub. I've been coming to Tyee for years and have never been disappointed.

The fresh, crisp bedding and spotless room made for a lovely week away. It had everything we could have wanted, and felt like a real break from it all.

There’s plenty of room and the place is very nice, but there’s no parking space. The main road is also really noisy.
