Those homemade breakfast treats and all the fresh choices were such a treat. My partner and I felt properly spoiled, and the room was five-star comfortable. The accommodation and its location were lovely, and the hosts were superb. There are pretty places nearby to walk around, or you can cycle to Roslin Chapel and its grounds. Buses into central Edinburgh take about 20 minutes, cost £1.60, and run every ten minutes. I’d get in touch with Greenlees Lodge again without hesitation. Book it, you won’t be disappointed! We didn't stay ourselves, but my sister-in-law and her husband did. They said the place was spotless, the beds very comfortable, and breakfast lovely. They also found the owner really nice and helpful.

The owner was so helpful throughout. A great guest house, and one I’d happily recommend.

Avoid this place. The business owner has a terrible attitude and responds badly to negative feedback.
