Woodclose Park

The site is a lovely spot, and there’s a great fenced dog walk where Roxy could run off lead. It’s a pleasant 15-20 minute walk into town, either by the river or along the pavement. Jayne gave us one of the best welcomes we’ve had at a site, explained everything clearly and showed us to our pitch, which had water, grey waste and electric. The facilities block is very close, clean and warm. The team around the park were friendly and kept it immaculate, while leaving it a bit more natural than some sites. Highly recommend this place near Kirkby Lonsdale.

I’ve been here three times and have had amazing experiences each time. It’s an unbelievable place, and I’ve never had a bad stay. 10/10, I’ll be back sometime soon. Would recommend!

Our first break away together was saved by a last minute booking of the rustik view pod. My partner and I couldn’t find a fault with it. The staff were lovely and welcoming, even when we were walking around in our PJs waiting for our clothes to dry after getting VERY drenched in Kirkby. It’s a lovely little site with clean facilities and a private toilet block near the glamping section. We’re looking to come back as soon as possible!

We arrived in our motorhome to a warm welcome, and the location is brilliant, about a 15 minute walk into town, with loads of pubs, restaurants and shops. There’s a shop on the campsite too. The separate showers are nice, a little dated but clean. We’ll definitely come back.
