The course is superb and beautiful, even though torrential rain fell for many of the holes. A couple of members were very rude, gesturing for us to hurry when we'd been held up on every shot by the group ahead. Putting a three ball walking in front of a two ball in buggies may not be wise. Despite that unpleasantness, the staff were lovely, especially the Welsh gentleman at the halfway house, Elgin, I think. The course and hotel make this an absolute must if you're in the area.

The course is lovely, though firm fairways led to some unpredictable bounces. The terrain has some severe drops and climbs, so I'd recommend hiring a buggy. The clubhouse is nice, but service was slow and there weren't many draught options after our round. The practice range was okay. The practice putting green, though, had such steep slopes it was like crazy golf and won't help you improve your putting.

I went for a private function and played 18 holes. The course was incredible, with amazing views, though it was quite long and had several steep slopes in both directions. I managed with a push along trolley, but anyone who might struggle with the hills would find a golf buggy handy. The facilities are fantastic, the surroundings idyllic, and the food was good quality. The price was quite high, as you'd expect, at £40 for one round when going with a member.

A beautiful, well-kept course, and a tough one. Play well and you can get the better of most holes, but three are ultra tough, at least mentally. Some of the photos were taken by a friend on the course.

A tough but rewarding course, with really interesting holes and stunning scenery. It's a good physical workout, and the members are friendly.
