We both went for burgers while sitting in the beer garden, and they were delicious, with really generous portions. The food and service were impressive. We were staying in St John’s Town of Dalry for the night and stopped by Lochinvar Hotel for dinner. Definitely worth a food stop if you're in the area.

A warm, cosy pub with a wood-fired stove. My room was large, nicely finished and stayed lovely and warm on a cold day. Friendly staff and a good price.

I stumbled across the lochinvar by accident and found a really warm, welcoming place. The staff and locals were all friendly and hospitable, and Sam and his team clearly do a good job. I'll come back with my wife for food next time, when circumstances are better.

The pizzas had excellent quality ingredients and plenty of topping. After two weeks driving around Scotland, this was easily the best pizza we had. I'd recommend calling ahead to book a table.
