We’ve been here before and really enjoy the site, so we’ll definitely return. The on site restaurant serves top notch food at reasonable prices, and there’s enough to do that you could spend the whole stay here. Mini golf is fun, and the park seems best suited to confident kids aged 6 and up. The pool is good for playing with children, though it’s barely deep enough for adults to swim. The shop is well stocked but a little dearer than usual, and Cayton Bay is within walking distance. Staff are friendly, and there are good activities during the day and evening. Buses to Bridlington and Scarborough run regularly, but weekday services from Scarborough stop at 7:30pm. We missed one by five minutes. You can connect to places further away from either town, though buses get very busy in peak season. When we arrived at 4pm, the soft furnishings and carpets were wet and smelled as if they’d been cleaned. I suspect staff thought they’d have time to dry in the warm weather.
