Symons House

We paid like everyone else, but felt badly treated, possibly because we're a young couple and were misjudged. There was very little privacy. The host kept peeking over the garden window throughout the day, and when I went outside with my child, they watched from upstairs. They also kept calling whenever someone knocked, before we even had a chance to get to the door. It made us really uncomfortable.

It's a clean, fresh place, but the location wasn't great for us. It's in the middle of a housing estate, without much of a view or a pub within walking distance, and parking is on the roadside if you're lucky. Be aware of that. It's called an apartment, though it's really a large bedroom with an ensuite and kitchen. Oddly, it has a washing machine instead of a small dishwasher, which I think would have been more useful. Nice enough place to stay, just not a great location.

Henry was really helpful, and this worked well as an alternative to a hotel. I'd stay here again.
