Parking was the one snag. There are five allocated spaces, but they’re tight, and when four cars were already there we couldn’t fit ours in, so we parked up the street. Worth bearing in mind with multiple vehicles or a larger car. Otherwise, our family of five had a lovely stay at Alum Chine Beach House. It’s tucked away in peaceful surroundings but only a short stroll from beautiful Alum Chine beach, with space for the kids to play. The house was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated having somewhere calm to come back to after busy days out. The quiet location and easy beach access more than made up for the parking inconvenience.

The little extras in the kitchen, key fob access and convenient parking were much appreciated. The place was extremely clean, the service was great, and it’s close to the beach. This was our first trip to Bournemouth, and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

A comfortable lounge and nice warm radiators made the apartment pleasant, and the beds, pillows and quilts were comfy too. It’s very clean and spacious, handy for the beach and about a 20-minute walk into town. There were plenty of utensils; the fridge had a couple of soft drinks, beer and a bottle of water, and tea bags and sugar were provided. A few niggles: the shower in one bedroom wouldn’t run warm, the toilet seat was loose, and the floorboards squeaked. We could also hear the neighbours walking around. I’d recommend it for a short stay.

The hosts gave us a very warm welcome, and we had a very pleasant stay. The guest apartment was bright, airy and clean, with modern decor and all the fixtures and amenities working well. I’ll definitely look to return when I’m next visiting the coast near Alum Chine. Thank you!

We spent a week here in July 2021. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well organised, and only about a five-minute walk from the beach. Excellent stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.
