The breakfast was a highlight, with lots of choice and good quality food. The owners can give you a special map for walking into Cheddar that keeps you off the main road. Just bear in mind the gate through the industrial estate shuts if you return late, though there are two routes. The room has patio doors but no windows, so it can get a bit warm at night if you want the doors closed. Still, the beds were comfy, we slept well, and the patio and rain shower were nice touches. We loved our short stay in this lovely home, close to Cheddar, and I'd choose it again if I were in the area.

We really enjoyed the lovely rooms and upscale, cosy feel of the property. The owners were friendly and helpful, and drove us to Cheddar and back. The road between Cheddar and Nyland Manor is quite dangerous, so I wouldn't recommend walking along it. The grounds themselves feel safe and have great walks. Breakfast was excellent. I'd try for a room with a bathtub.

The grounds and Manor are beautiful, with flowing meadow grass and lakes that make the outdoor space incredible. It's a stunning wedding venue, with so much to offer for a dreamy day, and the team is superb. I'd love to photograph another wedding here. You can find me on Google as 'Wedding Photographer Yeovil'.

The hosts were fantastic, and we enjoyed a nice walk around the lake. We stayed in the stables, which had loads of space, was clean, and had super comfy beds.

We were only a few minutes from Cheddar village, but the rural setting made for a tranquil stay. After our long drive from Gatwick, Rachael gave us a warm welcome and pointed us to the local pub for a great dinner. Breakfast the next morning was very good, and we had a stroll around the working farm before leaving. The following day I got an SMS saying we'd left an item of clothing behind. She posted it to our Australian address. The accommodation is in a modern, purpose-built wing.
