The Studio Cheddar

The attentive hosts made us feel welcome, and the hot tub was a great way to spend the evenings. Our apartment was stylish, clean, quiet at night and had a comfy bed, along with everything we needed and extra luxuries, including a welcome pack on arrival. It's a convenient base for exploring Cheddar Gorge and Wells, which has lots for families to do. We had a thoroughly good time and would recommend it for a weekend or longer getaway.

We especially enjoyed ending each day in the wonderful wood fired hot tub, and the bed was very comfortable too. The Studio Cheddar was well equipped, with a bottle of Prosecco waiting in the fridge, a touch we really appreciated. Sam and Alex were great hosts. They made sure we had what we needed and knew how to contact them if anything came up. It's in a quiet village, a short walk from the Cider Barn, and well located for a short drive to Cheddar Gorge or about 20 minutes to the city of Wells. We had a lovely few days and really enjoyed staying here.

The welcome struck just the right balance: friendly when we arrived, then we were left to enjoy our space. The Studio has so many thoughtful extras. There are coat hooks and a boot tray for wet, muddy walkers, extra hot tub towels, and lightening cables in case you forgot yours. Alongside Prosecco, there was fresh milk, not UHT capsules, plus OJ and granola. It's so well equipped that the 5 star reviews make perfect sense. Great location, as you'd expect. I'd recommend an evening stroll up to Draycott sleights for the wonderful views.

The hot tub was a lovely way to unwind after a day out, and everything was spotless, comfortable and beautifully maintained. This was an absolutely wonderful studio in a perfect spot, close to all the attractions in Cheddar. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend it!
