Fir Trees Caravan Park

It feels like you’re miles from anywhere, surrounded by farmland, though the heart of Chester is only 10 minutes away. Our park home was well equipped and had two toilets. The only problem was arriving to find no power. It took a short while to work out that the outside isolator was switched off. That makes sense when a unit is unoccupied, but it would have been nice to have the power on when we got there. Otherwise, I’d recommend Fir Trees if you want a getaway or a base for exploring the area.

We were back at Fir Trees Caravan Park last weekend, after staying there many times over the past four years. This time we had one of the lovely lodges. It was very clean, homely and well equipped with all the things you might need. The grounds are well kept and peaceful, and the people are friendly. There are lovely walks nearby, and Chester centre is very close. Another great stay, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

There are so many trees and a lovely, well-kept garden at this beautiful site. The mobile home we stayed in was excellent, clean and tidy throughout. I didn’t expect to find a place like this in the middle of Chester.

We own a holiday home at this park, and it’s the best thing we’ve ever bought. It’s peaceful, beautifully located, well maintained, and has excellent management and staff. You wouldn’t think you were in Chester once you’re here. If you’re thinking about buying a holiday home or renting one, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. My family stayed for seven days in rental R19, directly opposite our place, and they absolutely loved it. They’ll definitely return. Our nephew and niece even said they preferred this holiday to going abroad. Thanks to Debbie & Bev for making them feel so welcome. I’m leaving two reviews, one from me and one from my family.
