George was such a kind, helpful host, and breakfast was legendary. The room was spotless, the bed really comfortable, and the location was great. All the thoughtful touches made it a very enjoyable stay. I stayed at The Crowne Plaza on my last trip, and this place was better by a country mile.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt and a full English cooked to a standard a five-star hotel could be proud of. Our overnight room with George exceeded expectations, with thoughtful extras like plenty of tea, coffee, water and chocolates. The bathroom cabinet was stocked with toiletries for anything we might have forgotten. We had everything a traveller could need, and more. I'd happily recommend it to friends and family.

The breakfast was one of the best we've had on this trip, and we've been travelling for weeks. It kept us going all day. George's attention to detail is outstanding, and this B&B makes for a complete stay when visiting Chester. Everything about it is excellent.

Beers and wine were waiting in the excellent room when we arrived, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Fresh tea-making supplies and even a chocolate on the pillows were thoughtful touches. There was also plenty of useful stuff in the room, from water to cotton buds, in case we'd forgotten anything. Definitely five stars for everything.
