The room was clean but compact, and the cooked breakfast was replenished regularly, as you'd expect at a Premier Inn. Staff were pleasant, though less chatty and friendly than at other Premier Inns we've visited. We stayed midweek for two nights. The hotel is handy for walking into the city centre, with some good restaurants and bars nearby, and there's a small car park on site. Our ground-floor room was in the annexe, quite a trek from reception. It was freezing when we arrived and still cool at bedtime. It took at least 24 hours to reach a comfortable temperature, and the corridor had no heating to help.

We slept really well both nights, even though the hotel is close to a railway station. We didn't hear much from the street or people passing in the corridors. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived, with the bed neatly made and the bathroom in good order. It had all the promised extras, including bedside USB ports, a coffee machine, rainfall shower with a detachable head, mini fridge, iron and upgraded desk space. We chose a Premier Plus room because it wasn't much more per night, per guest, than a standard one. The car park felt safe. I was unsure at first whether payment was on arrival or exit, but staff explained it was pay on exit, though the signs don't say so clearly. Parking was easy to find, and the check-in staff were friendly and interested in why we'd picked Chester. The gentleman at the desk knew the area well, which was great for newcomers. We stayed two nights with my partner and wished we'd booked a third. This modern Premier Inn was a lovely base for exploring Chester. Thank you!

The room was spacious and very clean, and I got a warm welcome on arrival. My bed was much more comfortable than beds at Travelodge, that's for sure. It was my first time at a Premier Inn in the UK, and I went in with low expectations but came away loving it. I had a great night and can't wait to stay at Premier Inn again soon.

The staff were lovely and sorted out everything we needed, but a few details had been missed. We'd requested a cot, and there wasn't one in the room when we arrived. We booked for two adults but found just one towel, and the soap was nearly empty. Otherwise, the place was easy to find, comfortable and clean, with parking on site and plenty of street spaces right outside when the car park filled up. Breakfast was lovely, as it always is at Premier Inns.

We had dinner, a mixed grill and pizza. The staff were lovely and helpful, the food came out really fast, and both dishes were cooked very well. The tidy, lovely room and the hotel's location made it easy for me to get to work. We stayed one night on 31 May. A 10/10 experience.
