We came for the first time at 1pm on a Friday and there were plenty of free tables. The menu had lunch, sandwiches and Tapas. Everything we ordered was tasty: slow cooked belly pork, fish and chips, and the whole Hog.

We had tapas and a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and did all they could, though the lady behind the bar was also serving food and seemed stretched with how busy it was, even on a weekday. We’ll definitely go back.

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff member who greeted and served us was attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we came in. Even our dog got a little treat. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

Our tapas were beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the service was friendly and attentive. It was very good value too, £58 for the food and two drinks each. It’s a lovely country pub, and I wish I lived closer. The steaks coming out looked pretty good. We couldn’t fault the meal.

We came to celebrate my daughter’s A level results, and everything was spot on, from the welcome at the door to the service and food. It was tasty and packed with flavour. Nothing to fault.
