My room, number 7, was very peaceful, despite overlooking the car park. It had two twin beds, a wall-mounted TV, plenty of storage, a fan and an iron, plus an en-suite shower room and WC. Everything was nicely presented and put together. Pebley is in a beautiful spot, with amazing views from the pub. You can even hear birdsong over the traffic from the nearby M1. I was delighted by the warm welcome from Olivia, the friendly bar atmosphere, Lewis's excellent ale and crisp pairing recommendations, and the great playlist. The decor is tasteful, and the armchairs are lovely to sink into at the end of the day. A wonderfully welcoming country pub.

The beds were really comfortable, the shower excellent, and the food brilliant. The bar staff were pleasant and helpful, and they pour a great pint of Guinness. I stayed here for work and it was a great find. Definitely worth a visit if you work in the area or are just passing through. Highly recommend.

I had a single room for an overnight stay while attending a nearby wedding. It was a good size, with a decent bathroom, TV, and tea and coffee. The pub felt friendly, with only a few people in, and the staff were welcoming. I didn't get to try the food or drink, though the beer selection looked good and other diners' meals were tempting. It's a proper country pub with great views, and the landlord's dog was super friendly. I'll pop in again if I'm in the area.

Stopped here for a lovely stay on the way to another destination. The landlord and bar lady were very pleasant and welcoming, and we had a couple of good real ales before bed. Excellent.

Room 1 was warm and comfortable, and I didn't hear the other guests at all. The boneless chicken and salt and pepper chips were amazing. We had a great New Year's Eve stay at this proper country pub, full of character and characters.
