East Pallant Bed Breakfast

The room felt neglected, especially for what the property costs. There were screws sticking out dangerously from the bathroom cabinet, webs that could alarm even someone without arachnophobia, and no socket by the bed for charging a phone. At nearly £150 for one night, it just wasn't worth it. The location is perfect in the town centre, and having your own parking space is great. Breakfast was good too, though it's at a shared communal table.

The building is lovely, the room was spotless, and breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect, and the staff were great. On our visit the other guests were friendly too, which made the stay even nicer. Nothing to dislike.

Laura, who runs the B&B, was lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable, and ours had a beautiful bath. It is very deep, so check first if getting in or out of a bath is difficult or you need a shower. During COVID-19, breakfast was brought to our room each morning on a tray. It was filling, fresh and tasty, and the croissants were the biggest we'd seen and the best we'd ever tasted. The building fits its surroundings, and the B&B is beautifully furnished and clean. There was no TV in our room, but there are lovely sitting rooms you can use, including one opposite our room. One has an amazing piano, and another has sofas and chairs. It didn't matter to us since we were out all the time. The location is right in the town centre, close to shops and restaurants but a few streets away from the main stream. There's lots to see in Chichester, and the cathedral and Palace gardens are definitely worth visiting. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this B&B.

Laura was kind and helpful from the start, and nothing was too much trouble. We booked the house for a special family birthday and found it clean, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped, with a lovely welcome basket. We had a wonderful weekend and were all sad to leave. I know we'll return.
