Llandudno Hostel

We were in a mixed dorm for two nights for a club reunion. The bunk was comfortable, with lovely cotton sheets and thick duvets, and having tea and coffee in the room was a nice bonus. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location worked really well.

We arrived late after booking at the last minute, tired, and the guys on staff were so polite, helpful and easy-going. The hostel was clean and had what we needed, including a great shower, kettle and hairdryer. We couldn't comment on breakfast since we booked too late to get a room with it. Wetherspoons is just down the road, with Asda and other places nearby too. We'd wanted a family room, but there was only one and it wasn't available, so we made do with the bunk beds and put a mattress on the floor. I got to hold my hubby's hand as we went to sleep, lol. It was fun, and definitely worth the money. Thanks for being patient while we made our late arrival. I accidentally booked two rooms, but Booking.com refunded one without any fuss. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would come back.

The room was tiny, but it had everything we needed, and the beds were really comfortable with lovely linen. We had a very warm welcome at reception, too. It's a very basic hotel, and we skipped the optional extras apart from choosing an en-suite. For the price, it was exceptionally good value. We'd happily recommend it.

After a night here at the end of our bikepacking trip, we were especially grateful that they let us bring our very dirty bikes inside. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was basic but comfortable and clean. They also moved breakfast half an hour earlier so we could eat before our train home. Perfect.
