The robes in the bathroom were soft and luxurious, giving the place a lovely spa feel. Our chalet was cosy, romantic and compact, with everything we needed. A couple of small things could use attention: the toilet roll holder and towel rack felt loose, so we didn't risk using them, and for two nights we were given just two teabags. That felt a bit stingy for what I paid, so I had to get more. Still, those details didn't really affect our stay, and we'd happily come back for another weekend and would love to attend one of the seasonal events. I booked Chalet 3 for my partner's birthday. The setting is stunning and private, and feels very premium. We were lucky with the weather and walked around the land, seeing the cute animals. It was muddy, but proper footwear made that no problem. I even tried the zip line. A staff member told me about the peacocks and ducks, and it was a joy watching all the animals run about with their own personalities. We were there in late February and had the peaceful place to ourselves. I can't say how it would feel with other guests staying.

The breakfast basket made mornings extra cosy, with bread, fresh milk, eggs from their chickens, jam, tea, cereal and coffee. Such a thoughtful, handy touch. We also loved taking the boat around the lake. Northlands Farm has gorgeous, cosy chalets full of character and a really relaxing atmosphere. The surroundings are beautiful, and it was such a peaceful, charming escape. There were so many animals to meet: the miniature donkeys stole our hearts, and we loved the goats, alpacas and all the other lovely animals and birds. Our dogs had a great time exploring too. You can tell how much care and love goes into the whole place. A perfect countryside getaway, and somewhere we'll definitely return to.

The food was really good. It would be awesome if they could add some gluten-free options to the menu, but otherwise it was a wonderful day. I brought my daughter back for the Easter egg hunt with a friend who hadn't been before. They had a great time running around, from the trail to the space hoppers. The best bit was cuddling the gorgeous guinea pigs, who were as adorable as ever. Lovely farm, and such an enjoyable day. Thank you again, we'll hopefully be back for Halloween.

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt at the weekend with our 2.5-year-old grandson, and all had a lovely time. The grounds are stunning, the animals are clearly well cared for, and the variety made it special. It was amazing to learn that all the animals are rescued. Our grandson loved the whole day. The food was good and very reasonably priced compared with lots of other places we've been. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, and the lady running the slide was so lovely. We'll definitely come back for future events and have been telling people about it. Thanks to everyone who put this wonderful event together.

My seven-year-old son couldn't stop smiling and didn't want to leave the Christmas event. Santa was amazing and so attentive to him, and the house was decorated beautifully. The effort put into everything was exceptional. We visited today and all we can say is wow. Thanks again to everyone at Northlands Farm for a truly magical experience. Merry Christmas to you all.x
