The staff really made this stay for us. The receptionist who checked us in was lovely, and everyone at the bar and restaurant was kind and attentive. Two waiters even took time to help with my question on Saturday evening. We felt very welcome and I’d happily come back. The room was clean and had tea-making facilities and terrestrial TV, but it felt tired and could use some TLC. The hairdryer was a bit faulty, the heater occasionally rattled at one temperature, and there was a damp smell in the bathroom. Maybe it was because the floor looked like wood, or actually was wood. We had to leave the window open during the day to air it out.

The food was great, and every staff member we met was friendly, polite, and smiling. They made us feel welcome and nothing seemed like a bother. Thanks for making my stay so pleasant. I’d happily recommend this place for a business trip or sightseeing break ☺️

Breakfast each morning was a highlight, especially how carefully the restaurant staff handled my food allergies. I’ve never had that level of diligence anywhere else. We also had a really comfortable stay, with a clean room and great facilities.

Chichester is a pleasant little town, and this was my first visit. There are plenty of independent shops, bars, and coffee shops, with the cathedral and cobbled shopping streets about 15 minutes away. The station is only five minutes away too. The Premier Inn sits just outside the historic centre on a rather soulless retail park. Still, it’s a Premier Inn, one of the most consistent budget hotel brands, and its beds are the comfiest of any UK hotel chain.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the location was great. Staff were friendly and attentive, the usual Premier Inn standard. I did spot a few small marks, like coffee spills on the wall and marks on the chair, though I’m very fussy 🙄. Free parking was a nice bonus 😃
